Privacy & consent
Your data, handled with care.
Phoenix Business Data Consulting Ltd ("Phoenix", "we", "us") is the data controller for information collected through the Phoenix Global Tech Leadership Series. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. What we collect
When you register we collect your first and last name, email address, country and professional role. When you subscribe to the newsletter we only collect your email address.
2. Why we use it
To send you calendar invites, session links, reminders, recordings and — only if you opt in — occasional updates about future Phoenix events and resources. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, where relevant, our legitimate interest in delivering the Series you signed up for.
3. Opt in, opt out, anytime
You choose whether to receive marketing updates at the point of registration. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing events@phoenixbdc.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Who we share it with
Only trusted service providers that help us run the Series (email delivery, event hosting, analytics). We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
For the lifetime of the Series and up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, write to events@phoenixbdc.com.
